Routes

A Route is an overlay which contains a series of Route Points which define a particular pathway which you wish to follow (a line showing "where you'd like to go"). See the section on Routes in this guide for details.

Routes List page

Flip Page Button

You can open the Routes List page by switching to the Flipside Page by tapping the Flip Page button

Data Button

then tap the Overlays button and tap on Routes.

The buttons located along the top of the window also allow you to open the Marks List page and the Tracks List page.

The Routes List page displays a list of routes which are currently defined within the app.

For each entry in the list, you will see the following summary information:

You can tap any item on the list to go to the Details Page, where you can make changes.

Tap the Back Button to return to the previous screen

Tap the Menu Button to pop up the Routes Menu

Delete All

Deletes all items in the current list page in one action. You will be prompted to confirm your action.

Save all routes

Save or share all items in the current list page in one action.

Load saved data

Load previously saved routes

Lock all Routes

Locks all items on the current list page, so they cannot be accidently moved on the map screen.

Unlock all

Unlocks all items on the current list page, undoing a previous Lock all routes action.

Show all

Makes all items in the current list page visible on the map page.

Hide all

Hides all items in the list on the main map page. This has the effect of de-cluttering the map page, as if you have many items visible it may reduce the clarity of the map.

Syncable

Sets all items on the current list page to be syncable to other devices linked via your Memory-Map account. See the Cloud Sync section of this user guide for more details.

Non-Syncable

Sets all items on the current list page to not be syncable to other devices linked via your Memory-Map account.  See the Cloud Sync section of this user guide for more details.

Sort

Overlay Sort menu

Sorts items in the current list page in the selected order. Tapping Sort opens the Overlay Sort menu, where you can choose the order you wish. The current option is shown at the top of the menu, highlighted in red. Choose from:

By Name

Sorts the entries on the current list page alphabetically by their name.

By Date

Sort the entries on the current list page by date, with most recent at the top of the list.

Distance

Sort the entries on the current list page by distance from your current location, with closest items at the top of the list.

Data Sync

Performs data synchronisation of the items set to syncable in the current list page. See the Cloud Sync section of this user guide for more details.

Details page

From the list page, tap a single item to enter the Details page for that item.

Route Details page

On the Route Edit Page, you can modify the parameters associated with the route being edited.

Color Button

Opens the Colour page, allowing you to change line colour and pattern of the current item.

Download Map Button

Allows you to download any missing sections of map which are required to display the route.

Share button

Share the route as an attachment using the default email client on the device

View Button

View the current item on a map

Delete Button

Delete the route

Reverse Route Button

Reverse the waypoint order of waypoints within the route (ie. "flip" the route)

Tap the Cancel Button to return to the previous screen WITHOUT saving your changes

Tap the Done Button to return to the previous screen, saving your changes

Edit page

When you are on the Item Detail page, tapping the Edit button will open the Item Edit page.

The Item Edit page contains some of the same functions as the Item Details page, but has a few other options as well.

This page also shows the Creation and Modification Date for the item.


Colour page

Colour page

The Color Page allows you to modify some of the visual aspects of the current item. These modifications can be made to either tracks or routes.

Here you can customise:

When you are satisfied with your changes, tap the Done Button to save them.

If you wish to abort your changes without making them permanent, tap the Cancel Button.
