If you want to see the screen, but you don't want any accidental touches to interact with the application, tap-and-hold the Location Lock button on the toolbar for approximately 4 seconds. This will lock the screen, so that the application ignores any touch events.
When the screen is locked, a small Unlock Button appears at the bottom centre of the screen.
Tap-and-hold this button for around 1 second to unlock the screen and return to normal operation.
The Hema 4WD App has the ability to use the GPS and record a tracklog while the app is in the background, or even with the screen turned off. You can enable this option in Settings - GPS Settings.
